You will focus to move business units through change, support continuous improvement efforts, build buy-in and commitment to that change while at the same time developing an enduring longer term capability, as we continue to move forward in a changing environment. You should direct the thinking of both the Change Management Office (CMO) team, and that of the wider company level business readiness change effort.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand communication needs, timelines and key milestones
Innovate creative approaches and continuous improvement to drive communications, training change management and other human resources related content to improve the absorption and adoption of key messages
Participate in and/or lead the development of content that meets the needs of the business and transformation project.
Identify the necessary communication needs, preferred approach and key indicators for each project or initiative as part of an overall change impact assessment
Establish metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication, training and other change management vehicles and user understanding
Identify the preferred training approach and key stakeholders for each project or initiative as part of the overall change impact assessment
Integrate change management training initiatives with other HR disciplines including but not limited to learning and development, performance management, succession and development of leaders to achieve excellent company results
Support the development of tips, guides, FAQs and other documentation to complement training efforts
Utilize creative, alternative approaches to traditional classroom training including e-learning, video, and self-directed methods
Support the organizational development and design needs of business units collaborating with HR team members or external resources, with emphasis on change in people, process and/or technology
Effectively coordinate and chair a business readiness implementation group as part of the more formal Business Readiness Process, building, trust, confidence and rapport with the business on behalf of the program
Ensure risks and any associated issues are proactively surfaced and fully transparent, ensuring Operational Impacts are fully understood, communicated and disruption to daily business performance is managed and kept to a minimal.
Build relationships with stakeholders across other programs to ensure the change environment in which we are deploying is understood and readiness effort coordinated
Represent the Business Readiness team on behalf of the Change Management Office at senior forums, Steering Group, Design Authorities and Program Leadership meetings
Minimum of 5 years implementing project, programs or change efforts using a structured, disciplined approach
Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing people
Project / Program Management certification is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree, in: Business Administration, Communications, Organizational development, Education, Human Resources or other related area
Strong organizational / Project Management skills with proven experience of delivering quality outcomes, on time and with full transparency of Risks, Issue and Assumptions
Expert engagement and communication skills, with proven ability to create clear and concise messages for multitude of stakeholders
Experience in organizing, leading and chairing large scale meetings, forums and workshops with a diverse group of individuals
Strong People Management skills, able to drive a high performing team to not just deliver but to develop and grow
Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform both Readiness Position and Sustainment
Self-starter, able to work well with others, and on own initiative, to successfully drive through ambiguity keeping the customer at the heart
