Job Summary

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will act as a technical project lead to design and implement electrical and electronic systems, subsystems, PCB design and testing. As a core team member in our Hardware Engineering Department, you will also collaborate extensively with members of the Embedded and Robot Software teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical system design.
• Responsible for electrical wire harness design.
• Responsible for defining and selecting electromechanical components such as sensors, actuators, servo motors, and electronic components in conjunction with other engineering functions.
• Responsible for both improving our existing electronic designs and developing new ones.
• Feature and sub-system-level ownership from design and development through testing, build a package and BOM generation and release to the production environment.
• Work closely with manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to meet development and production timelines.

Minimum Experience Requirements

• Experience as an Electrical/Electronics Engineer
• Working expertise in Altium Designer
• Experience with the design of analog and digital circuits
• Experience using Oscilloscope and logic analyzer equipment
• Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask
• Demonstrated ability to perform requirements-driven electrical design
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to successfully work autonomously and collaborate across teams
