You will create the technical vision and provide thought leadership for the portfolio of integration technologies. As the architect, you will develop, create, and monitor adherence to integration standards. You’ll utilize these standards to design solutions that meet operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability.



  • Understand and evaluate the technology trends and the changing business/competitor landscape and prepare the organization to be disruptive

  • Facilitate rapid solutioning through a broad knowledge of available services to define end-to-end architecture to promote a clear and consistent business vision

  • Work with supporting teams to devise and validate viable solutions

  • Develop and maintain architectural assets including principles, standards, policies, reference architectures, models, blueprints, roadmaps, frameworks, patterns and services

  • Collaborate with Technology Translators and Integrators as necessary in proof of concept demonstrations and help scale up proven solutions to meet business needs

  • Drive innovative technology initiatives that create business value either through growth opportunities or operational improvements

  • Serve as a consultant to key business stakeholders and project teams on proposed and alternative architectures to implement efficient and cost-effective solutions

  • Research, identify, and document new / existing technologies, business models, processes and industry trends

  • Provide architectural leadership and expertise in the creation of technical solutions to address business needs

  • Ensure common architecture decisions are implemented consistently to support the business and IT strategies


  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years of related work experience OR 10 years of related work experience

  • Master's Degree in relevant technology/industry areas

  • Excitement, curiosity, and passion for shaping the future through digital technology

  • Strong knowledge of advanced technology architecture and emerging trends

  • Familiar with the latest technologies, trends, standards, products, and applicability

  • Develop & articulate technology innovation roadmap and vision

  • Able to effectively adapt to rapid technological and business change while maintaining enthusiasm and displaying sound judgment

  • Demonstrate leadership skills

  • Utilities industry experience
