Requirements:

• Linux/Unix and Apache experience, including hands-on application development work and use of command-line scripts (Bash, Perl, Powershell)
• Able to make progress in a fast-paced environment with little oversight
• Strong verbal/written communication & facilitation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to understand complex architectures and be comfortable working with multiple teams 
• Ability to conduct performance analysis, capacity management and troubleshoot large scale distributed systems 
• Enthusiasm toward technology, passionate continual learner
• Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
• Experience as a Linux/Unix engineer on a cross-functional agile team

• Experience programming and supporting C/C++ in a Linux/Unix environment
• Apache configuration and troubleshooting of application server configuration & infrastructure
• Web services, 3rd party APIs, tools like Postman, SoapUI, Fiddler, Wireshark
• Oracle database experience

• COBOL experience
• Advanced knowledge of SQL tuning, indexing & query costs
• Maintaining PL/SQL packages as well as SQL Loader, SQL Plus, and SQL Developer
