Responsibilities: 

• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and execute quality assurance strategies and procedures for data pipelines, data warehouses, webservices and related software systems.
• Testing and Validation: Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate data integrity, accuracy, and completeness within data pipelines, data warehouses and webservices. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to identify defects or potential issues.
• Data Quality Monitoring: Develop and implement data quality monitoring processes and tools to proactively identify and address data quality issues. Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to establish data quality metrics and thresholds.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve data quality issues, working closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, and developers. Implement preventive measures and process improvements to minimize future issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders including data analysts, healthcare professionals, and development teams to understand requirements, provide quality inputs, and ensure alignment with quality standards and best practices.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of quality processes, test plans, test cases, and test results. Generate regular reports on quality metrics, test coverage, and defect tracking.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency gains in the quality assurance and testing processes. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to healthcare data pipelines and quality engineering.

Requirements:

• Quality engineering & analysis experience
• Experience operating in a cloud-based platform (Azure preferred)
• Knowledge of cloud-based data resources preferred (Azure Data Factory strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with working in a regulated industry
• Able to communicate and present complex issues with customers
• Hands-on experience testing Data Migrations, ETL workflows, data pipelines, databases, SQL, SOAP
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps working with test management
