Our company is looking for a strong candidate for a Robotic Planning / Motion Control Engineer. The successful candidate will work as part of a team to help extend and refine our autonomy system. Platforms include omnidirectional mobile bases, gantries, industrial manipulators, articulated worksurfaces, and specific tooling. Focus can include multi-robot task allocation, high dimensional planning, mobile base planning, manipulation, combinatorial optimization, and process-specific planning and control.
Significant experience with large-scale software systems, particularly C++, is required. The candidate must have a strong mathematics and problem-solving background. Experience with automated decision-makers, schedulers, robotic planners, or complex algorithms is required. Relevant skills include lateral thinking, focus, and the ability to balance rapid development with rigorous attention to detail. Ability to read, understand, and absorb significant software context is vital.
