A main responsibility of a SAP Business Analyst is to determine SAP application requirements for clients. SAP Business Analysts must analyze current needs, anticipate future needs and provide solutions for companies in integrating various business operations into one platform. This responsibility includes analyzing a company’s current practices in various areas, such as production, cost control, inventory, human resources, materials management, payroll, supply chain and other operations.


  • Provide leadership in all phases of SAP implementation and support including design, configuration, testing, training and business process change management

  • Work closely with business users and provide both functional and technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, developing and implementing system solutions, business processes, reports and procedures

  • Design and configure SAP ECC 6 for PP and QM modules

  • Implement and support business applications and business intelligence solutions

  • Project management and system requirement analysis of the SAP Production Planning Module, as well as manufacturing, financial, and supplemental software systems


  • Experience working in all phases of SAP projects with a focus on the PP, QM, WM modules

  • Knowledge of and experience with MES interface design and support

  • Strong understanding of business process design, implementation, improvements with ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications

  • Successful experience as a lead analyst on global SAP rollout for a manufacturing company

  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation and support of business application software packages

  • Excellent customer service skills including telephone techniques, listening skills, sense of urgency and enthusiasm

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with end-users and management

  • Demonstrated project planning, project management, problem-solving and work prioritization skills
